weight loss 2014 #alittletoofluffy

I joined a weight loss competition for the third year in a row; this one is from January 3rd until February 14th.  My eventual goal this year is to get rid of the 30 pounds I packed on my first year of teaching, in one month(!), when my thyroid basically died; we're talking about some freakishly stubborn weight.

So, here's my before picture.  Apparently I normally look this grumpy after I wake up after a nap...do I sound like a three year old or what?
I'll be taking my weight and measurements weekly, but I will probably only post what I've lost.  I'll be tracking my calories, in and out, through myfitnesspal.  I always have a lot of fun doing these and it will be a great way for me to get back into the swing of things.

I'm amazed at how we gain weight as teachers...I mean, I swear I'm on my feet all day long, but I've still put on weight since becoming a teacher.

It must be the stress.

Good luck to you on your journey! You'll do awesome :) Can't wait to read about your progress.

P.S. Who isn't grumpy after they wake up from a nap? :o)

Good for you! And I don't think you look nearly as grumpy as you think you do. :) Good luck!

Good Luck!! I'm so with you on feeling #alittletoofluffy. My family is doing a Biggest Loser competition until April, so I finally have some motivation (you know, aside from being in shape and at healthy weight...;))

I am right there with you on this. I think I am going to switch it up soon. Can't wait to see the progress you can make when you switch things up. I'm sure you're gonna kill it! Also, I have found this informative infograph about what exercises can help you burn calories - http://www.myfitnessboutique.co.uk/news/6/60/Weight-Lose-Research-An-Infographic . I hope this helps.
