After my first car wreck, I had a lot of hair fall out and so I desperately wanted my new growth hair covered up. I went to get a haircut to get some bangs and I came home feeling frustrated that I spent $40 for a trim where I was told there would be no bangs. I have a giant widow's peak, but I always had bangs as a child across my head (like most 90s children...) and they looked nice.
So, what did I do? Oh, I gave myself the hippie bangs no one would give me. At first, I thought, "what did I do? what did I do? why did I do this?", but then the shock wore off and apparently everyone on instagram really liked them.
All these years, I have just listened to hair dressers about what I can and can't do with my hair. Turns out, I can do anything I want with some time.
Have you heard enough about my hair now? ;) Have you ever had a haircut you didn't think you could pull off and then were surprised?
